Midorigi is a culinary-grade matcha from Marukyu Koyamaen, sourced from Uji, Kyoto, and designed with drinks in mind as much as baking. Sitting close to Rindo in the range, it has a smoother, more approachable character that makes it well suited to lattes and smoothies alongside the usual baking and dessert applications.
A good everyday option for home cooks and cafes who want one matcha that covers both drinks and food without needing to stock multiple grades.
Works well in lattes, smoothies, baking, and desserts. Use 2–4g per serve depending on desired intensity.
How to brew (matcha latte)
Whisk 2–3g with a small amount of hot water to form a paste, then add steamed or cold milk of your choice.

Great vibrancy and affordable compared to other types of matcha! This matcha has a slight umami flavour without being overly bitter and works amazingly in matcha lattes and baked goods.
